The McKenzie, known for its clear, cool waters, and the Willamette, a larger system, provide diverse habitats for our target species. In the fall, we focus on Fall Chinook and Coho salmon as they make their way upstream. Winter brings the hard-fighting Winter Steelhead, and spring is prime time for Spring Chinook. Throughout the year, we also find excellent Trout fishing, especially in the upper reaches of the McKenzie. A charter out of Eugene can take you from wide-open river sections to intimate pocket water, depending on the season and species we’re pursuing.
